Dog Walkers in Saltcoats

I am a fully insured and experienced dog walker  with a dog first aid certificate too. Based in Saltcoats, North Ayrshire, I am a real animal lover who is truly blessed in the fact that I do what I love to do for a living. Walking my customers dogs along the Ayrshire beaches is absolutely amazing. The dogs seem to love it too. Saltcoats beach is a common area that I frequent, but often I walk the dogs over at West Kilbride beach where the dogs and I sometimes get amazing views of Arran including it's highest mountain Goatfell.

I also love to take the dogs walking at Irvine beach and along the beach park too, again there are some lovely views over Arran and Ailsa Craig on a clear day.

I encourage all the dogs to socialise with each other and I seem to have a knack in helping almost all dogs to get along. Yes there has been the odd wee spat but it's always been rectified and the "over exited" dogs almost always become the best of pals thereafter.

Looking after the dogs and their well being is so satisfying. I always keep plenty of water, dog food, pet treats and bowls handy as I like to always be prepared. In addition I carry spare dog leads, collars, harnesses and muzzles too. The muzzles have luckily so far never been needed, it's a precaution just in case any of my new dogs become aggressive, which is extremely unlikely.

The dogs seem to be at their most happy when they are off their leads and free to run about, which I much prefer too. This might not be ideal for all dogs however, as some of my canine friends have poor recall and just don't want to come back. This is always countered in various ways. The range of treats that I carry is made familiar to all my fur ball friends  and it's rare that they won't run swiftly back to me  to grab their favourite dog treat. Some of the more fussy dogs though, need me to be a bit more creative. This sometimes means that I need a supply of cooked fish, cold meat, mini hot dogs, cheese or whatever it takes.

Any new dogs that I walk can be walked or ran in secure areas away from traffic etc on long leads, so I can get a feel for their recall ability.

These tiny trackers can be securely attached to any doggy that has the tendency to run off and it allows me to see real-time on my mobile phone where the dog is. This really is a handy wee gadget which has been trialled on numerous occasions and it always works.
